We love our jerky and have no plans to stop making these excellent products, but we wanted to offer people a choice. Lots of folks are asking for snacks with less sodium, and less processed sugar. We delivered! Our new meat snacks have just enough salt to help the meat bind properly and naturally derived sweet flavor – from real fruit – 20% Real Fruit in every flavor. This fruit is not from “concentrate” we sourced premium dehydrated fruit without additives and blend it with our premium angus beef and one simple accent flavor.
Beef, Pineapple and Red Pepper flakes combine to create a flavor that is well balanced, bright and pleasant. Don’t let the Red Pepper scare you, it’s just enough to accent the flavor of the Pineapple. These products are about balanced flavor and nutrition, not about trying to over do things. Each stick is 20% dehydrated pineapple which not only adds flavor, but gives these sticks a very good flavor profile and quick energy in a natural way. No sugar added.
Mango Jalapeño is the top choice of folks from Preschool classes all the way to the grandparents. It’s a flavor profile that is hard to describe, but impossible to forget. There isn’t enough jalapeño to make it spicy, it simply accents the very sweet flavor of the mango to deliver a flavor that’s as balanced as the nutritional profile. Each stick contains 20% dehydrated mango.
It’s hard to find anything more American than Apple Pie, which wouldn’t exist without some Cinnamon…we spent countless hours to recreate this flavor profile in a healthy, low sodium beef stick and we did it. The flavor profile is pleasant, sweet and mild. We had to add a touch of raw sugar to bring everything together just right, but we were able to maintain a very well balanced nutritional panel. Like all of our other Fruitango sticks, American Pie contains 20% dehydrated apples to add fiber, sweetness and flavor the way nature intended.
We weren’t the first people to combine these cranberries and chipotle peppers, but we’re pretty sure we are the first to combine them in beef stick. This profile is complex and bold. The bite opens up with the tartness of the cranberries and finish with just the right amount of chipotle burn. It’s a well rounded, sophisticatedly simple beef stick that is just as at home with a glass of Cabernet as it is with a bottle of water. All flavors are derived naturally from the beef, cranberries and chipotle pepper flakes.
